I am studying for my midterms!

Arghh! I am getting really bogged down with this studying business. I think I am one of those people who do well in class and then absolutely fall apart when it comes time for test taking. I am studying and I just know when I sit down to actually take my exams, all I will see is a blank page.

I promise, lots of knitting is going on, I will post pics soon. I found the camera, it has power, I just don't have time. "If it's not one thing, it's another."

Did I mention my husband, daughter and I are going to Italy this month? Yes. I am too excited, but I can't think about that until I take these exams....

If anyone knows of great knitting friendly type stores in Italy, let me know! We are going to go to all the usual tourist spots of course, but I would love to find some unique out of the way places that few tourists would know of.

I am back after a short hiatus

Well, I no longer have a cold, I celebrated my birthday, I knit two legwarmers, two wristwarmers, I cast on for some socks with yarn sent to me from my secret pal, I cast on Murmur, from The Next Big Thing, with Biggy Print in Cookie (yummy color that is more like Toffee than Cookie), I am STILL knitting my Paris Loop for my Poncho Knit Along, and MY SECRET PAL STRUCK AGAIN!

My secret pal sent me a package today! It has in it another lovely postcard, this time of a butterfly, (gorgeous) and a camomille scented aromotherapy candle, and a lavender scented candle (my favorite) and a skein of Noro Lily Yarn that is soft and beautiful and in this really rich deep red. Perfect for Christmas, but now what to make?

Oh and remember when I said I wasn't going to cast on for more than one project at a time? As you can see above, that rule was made to be broken. There is no way I could keep from starting a million projects at once, especially since, remember that stashing phase I was telling you all about? I will only say two words: Alpaca Silk. That's all I have to say.

Pictures? Pictures you ask? Well, I would definitely have already posted pictures with this entry, except for the fact that my camera is dead and I can't find the power adapter. I reckon the hubby has it hidden somewhere, and when he gets in from work, I shall post pics.
